Fun-ctional, sustainable, gender & size neutral boxers.

The story of PURSIK.boxers began in my childhood. I once had a cat named Pursik, the cutest and best cat I ever met. The name Pursik has always been associated with positivity, cuteness, and preciousness for me, so it felt only natural to name my project PURSIK.

With over 10 years of experience in the commercial fashion industry, my career started as a designer before I became a product manager. I worked for various companies, ranging from small businesses to large corporations, but I faced the same issues everywhere. Traditional commercial fashion companies produce their collections with the assumption that customers are constantly seeking new wardrobes each season. The truth is, consumers are tired of overflowing shops filled with faceless and soulless clothing. Many of us have full wardrobes, and companies are struggling with overproduction and revenue losses. The industry needs new approaches, but that’s another story.

One day, I found myself in a warehouse full of fabrics from previous collections, and nobody knew what to do with this treasure. I decided to save it from the trash. I collected the most beautiful woven shirt fabrics, primarily produced in Italy by premium mills. Inspired by the variety of colorful poplins and twills in diverse patterns and designs, I set out to create a product that fits almost everyone—comfortable, loose pants inspired by boxers and pajamas. These pants can be worn for many occasions and fit most body shapes.

I designed the boxers with charming details, such as a hanger loop in the back and a hand-stitched label. I am very glad to have found a small local manufacturer near Düsseldorf. Hübner Kleidungswerk, located in Wassenberg in the Lower Rhine region, is a women-led business. I experienced a great and personal partnership during the sampling and production process, something I truly missed in my commercial jobs.

PURSIK.boxers are mostly unique products due to the limited nature of surplus or deadstock fabrics. Sometimes, I only have one meter of a fabric, which means only one pair of boxers can be made. If more fabric is available, I offer additional sizes or lengths. The designs cannot be restocked for the same reason, so be quick!

All boxers are made from natural fabrics like cotton and/or linen. They are prewashed with gentle detergent and pressed, allowing them to be worn directly after purchase.

The sizing of PURSIK.boxers differs from traditional sizing. I truly believe that all people and bodies are beautifully unique. To avoid evaluating sizes as Small, Medium, or Large, the boxers come in three sizes: 1, 2, and 3.

PURSIK.boxers are designed for everyone who values themselves and is conscious about the environment and the people around them.

Enjoy yourself with this fun-ctional friend!
